Strawberry Eggless Sponge Cake

Strawberry sponge cake is a mouthwatering and quick sponge cake recipe which can be prepared easily at home with fresh strawberries !!

Ingredients:
1 cup plain flour (maida)
1/2 tin (200 gms.) condensed milk
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp baking Soda
4 tbsp Butter
1 cup cut Strawberries
1/4 cup water
ghee or butter for coating tin

Recipe:
  1. First sieve the maida, baking powder, baking soda together.
  2. Now put cut strawberries, water, 2 tbsp butter in a mixie and grind them well.
  3. Mix the strawberry pulp into the sieved mixture and mix well. Add 4 tbsp butter and little water if required. The batter should be of dropping consistency. 
  4. Take a round aluminium tin / heart shaped aluminium tin, coat it inside with ghee or butter.
  5. Pour batter into aluminium tin.
  6. Microwave on 60-80% power for 10 mins.
  7. Let it stand for a couple of mins before inverting onto a dish..!
