Cabbage Chutney

If you don't like cabbage or if you are bored of eating the same cabbage curry, this recipe is a must try !!  


Preparation Time 10 mins
Cooking time : 5 mins
Total Time: 15 mins

Ingredients:

1 cup sliced cabbage
1/4th cup sliced tomato 
2 tbsp split white Urad Dal
1 tbsp Jeera
A pinch Hing
5-6 Green Chillies (As per spice level)
Salt as per taste

For tempering:
Mustard
Curry Leaves few
2 - 4 tsps Oil 

Recipe:
  1. Heat oil in a kadhai. When oil is hot, add jeera, urad dal ,hing & green chillies fry till dal turns golden. 
  2. Now add the sliced Tomato, saute on high flame.
  3. Add the sliced cabbage cook on high flame for 3 mins.
  4. Cool this mixture and grind to a smooth paste.Taste and adjust the ingredients if required .
  5. Tempering: Heat oil in a small pan. When oil is hot, add mustard,cumin seeds curry leaves.Now pour the tempering into the chutney and mix well .
