Vermicelli Upma || Bambino Upma

Vermicelli Upma || Bambino Upma || Semiya Upma || Seviya cha Upma is a breakfast menu.






Ingredients:
3-4 green chillies
half lemon
5-6 Curry leaves
1 tbsp mustard seeds (Rai)
1 tbsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
1/2 tbsp hing
1/2 tbsp haldi (turmeric)
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1/4 cup chopped potatoes
1/4 cup chopped cabbage and beans
1 cup roasted Vermicelli || Bambino ||Semiya
4-5 tbsp Oil

Recipe :

  1. Boil one and half cup water
  2. Heat Kadhai and add 4-5 tbsp oil, once the oil is hot, add rai, jeera, hing, haldi, green chillies, curry leaves and allow them to crackle
  3. Now add chopped potatoes saute well
  4. Add cabbage, beans, tomatoes and saute well. Cover with a lid for 2-3 mins or till the veggies are cooked
  5. Once the veggies are cooked add the roasted Vermicelli (Bambino), mix well
  6. Add 1 tbsp salt and mix well
  7. Now slowly add boiled water and stir the upma. 
  8. Cover with a lid and cook for 3-4 mins.
  9. Squeeze half lemon, mix well and serve hot
