Crispy Potato Papdi

Crispy Potato papdi is a snack time recipe. It can be stored in an airtight container for one week. Best snack to have along with Chai / Coffee.

To make it healthy, I have used wheat flour instead of maida.

Ingredients: (Makes 50-60 papdi's)

2 cups wheat flour
4 tbsp semolina (Rava)
2 tbsp red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp Ajwain
1 tbsp Jeera
2 tbsp Kasuri methi
1/4 tbsp salt
1 cup boiled potatoes
Oil for deep frying

Recipe:

1. Take a bowl, add wheat flour, Semolina, ajwain, jeera, salt, red chilli powder
2. crush the kasuri methi and add into the bowl
3. Add boiled potato, 4-5 tbsp oil and mix all the ingredients well
4. slowly add water and  knead a hard dough
5. Rest the dough for 20 mins
6. After 20 mins, knead the dough for 2 mins
7. Take a portion of dough and roll out in a thin layer
8. Take a small round cutter / Steel bowl and make rounds in form of papdi
9. Most important Step of the recipe - Take a fork and poke the papdi well else the papdi will not be crispy.
10. Heat oil for deep frying, add the poked papdi' s and fry on a medium flame until its golden brown.
11. Delicious and crispy Potato papdi is readyyy 
12. Store it in a air tight container for a week.
