Semolina Upma || Suji Upma || Rava Upma is a healthy breakfast menu, you can add lot of veggies to make it more healthier.

Ingredients

1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 chopped potato
4-5 green chillies
3-4 curry leaves
1/4 cup chopped cabbage
1 medium sized chopped onion
1/2 cup freshly chopped coriander 
1 tbsp mustard seeds (Rai)
1 tbsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
1/2 tbsp hing
1 cup Suji || Semolina || Rava
4-5 tbsp oil

Recipe:

  1. Roast the Suji on low flame till the it is slight brown in color. Keep aside
  2. Boil 2 cups of water
  3. Heat Kadhai and add 4-5 tbsp oil, once the oil is hot, add rai, jeera, hing, haldi, green chillies, curry leaves and allow them to crackle
  4. Now add chopped onions and saute well
  5. Add potato, cabbage, beans, tomatoes and saute well. Cover with a lid for 2-3 mins or till the veggies are cooked
  6. Once the veggies are cooked add the roasted Suji (Semoilna), 1 tbsp salt & mix well
  7. Now slowly add boiled water and stir the upma. 
  8. Cover with a lid and cook for 3-4 mins.
  9. Squeeze half lemon, garnish with fresh coriander leaves mix well and serve hot
