Ingredients-
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 chopped potato
4-5 green chillies
3-4 curry leaves
1/4 cup chopped cabbage
1 medium sized chopped onion
1/2 cup freshly chopped coriander
1 tbsp mustard seeds (Rai)
1 tbsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
1/2 tbsp hing
1 tbsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
1/2 tbsp hing
1 cup Suji || Semolina || Rava
4-5 tbsp oil
Recipe:
- Roast the Suji on low flame till the it is slight brown in color. Keep aside
- Boil 2 cups of water
- Heat Kadhai and add 4-5 tbsp oil, once the oil is hot, add rai, jeera, hing, haldi, green chillies, curry leaves and allow them to crackle
- Now add chopped onions and saute well
- Add potato, cabbage, beans, tomatoes and saute well. Cover with a lid for 2-3 mins or till the veggies are cooked
- Once the veggies are cooked add the roasted Suji (Semoilna), 1 tbsp salt & mix well
- Now slowly add boiled water and stir the upma.
- Cover with a lid and cook for 3-4 mins.
- Squeeze half lemon, garnish with fresh coriander leaves mix well and serve hot
